Lazizbek "Bek" Salimov

Founder & CEO

Lazizbek Salimov is the visionary founder of PolicyGPT and a Computer Science student at the University of Washington (Expected 2027). As a Finalist at UW Hackathon and Dean's List student, Bek brings exceptional technical expertise in AI and machine learning to civic technology.

Currently serving as Software Development Intern at NeuralSeek and Software Engineer Fellow at Headstarter AI, Bek has developed 14+ AI projects in 5 weeks and led PolicyGPT to become a Finalist among 500+ participants at UWB Hacks: Save the World. His expertise spans React.js, Python, machine learning algorithms, and AI-powered solutions, with a proven track record of improving computational efficiency by 15% in production systems.

Bek's technical skills include full-stack development (React, Next.js, Node.js, Python, C++), AI/ML technologies (OpenAI, Pinecone, RAG pipelines), and cloud platforms (AWS, Firebase). As an active member of the Associated Students of Computing Machinery, he's committed to using technology to strengthen democratic participation and government transparency.

Daniel Noah

Co-Founder & CTO

A Computer Science student and former Business and Pre-Law major, Daniel specializes in Java development, data structures, and ethical technology practices. With hands-on experience in healthcare technology and behavioral therapy applications, he brings a unique perspective on user-centered design and accessibility to PolicyGPT's mission of making legislation understandable for everyone.

Daniel's background in both business and pre-law studies provides valuable insight into the intersection of technology and legal accessibility. His commitment to ethical technology practices and user-centered design has been instrumental in developing PolicyGPT's intuitive interface and ensuring the platform serves diverse user needs effectively.
